Maps of China and our trips -continued

We start in Beijing – 16 hr flight from US. We stay there 1-2 days for orientation. We may go a few days early to see some of the sites before we get Xiao.

We fly to Urumqi (near Hami, Xiao’s city) to get her – 4 hr flight. She is given to us on the first or second day we are there. We stay there about one week with Xiao already with us while we wait for her Chinese visa.

We fly to Guangzhou where the US consulate is to get Xiao’s US visa. We stay there about 4-6 days.
