11/4 Update - Good and bad news
The good news - we received out PA yesterday. This is the Preapproval from the Chinese government that means we are offically matched to Xiao Ting. Yipee !!
The bad news - still waiting for our I171H form. I wrote to both Senators and to Congressman Sensenbrenner in hopes someone could break the logjam. But don't hold your breath. The government is the government. The gal from Sensenbrenners office said "It really hasn't been that long". To which I replied "It may not seem long to you, but I have a 5 year old daughter in China who I can't go get because of this form". Feingold's office sent another form I have to fill out so they can see what is going on with this form. And so the fun continues. Our official filing date as 8/18 and they said 60-90 days to process and it has been 79 days. So frustrating....
Please pray we get this form soon so we can move forward in the process. Pray for all those in process, we know of others in similiar straits.
