Nov. 30th - Dossier is done!

Well, after some more wrangling, I got the I171 state certified and authenticated. I sent it off to Holt yesterday, along with the letter and photo album for Xiao. Holt sends dossiers on Fridays, so we hope ours gets in that batch.

What's next? We wait 2-4 months for travel approval. Once they call with that, we tell them when we will be ready to go.

In the meantime, we need to:
* Get updated measurements for Xiao so we can guess at her clothing sizes
* Begin to put our packing list together -we are usually packing challenged (we overpack) and need to really pack light for this trip
* Go to the travel clinic or our doctor to get some prescriptions to take with us
* Work with Holt on travel arrangements, etc.
* Finish Xiao's room - just need to clean out the desk and bottom of her closet
* Continue to learn mandarin !!
